Ophidia has been presented in the context of the e-Research Summer Hackfest held at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Catania on July, 4-15, 2016. The features and internals of the Ophidia Big Data Analytics Framework have been presented and many use cases have been collected from the attendants concerning various scientific domains: astronomy, seismology and genomic studies.
